I'm sure the first thing you notice about this board is the unusual shape (don't tell the big companies, but this is the future of kiteboards). Rounding the tips brings the force to the center of your foot, requiring less input to make the board do what you want. This smaller board makes for better carving on the waves and bigger jumps with softer landings. This board is not for beginners. It is not forgiving when you are just trying to figure out how to stand up, but when you are ready to take it to the next level, this is going to be the board to take you there.
What's in the Box: one kiteboard, one set of four fins, fin mounting hardware, optional pads and straps(at extra charge).
The problem is, we have all been riding the same crappy boards our whole lives. We don't know how much a better board can influence our ride. We have yet to find somebody that doesn't love this board the first(or second) time they try it. It makes you wish you didn't waste all those years(and money) riding the piece of plywood with the cute pictures on it.
This board brings the reactive force to the center of the board. What does that mean for you? Less input with more response. The board does what you tell it with small movements of your feet. A more responsive board makes your riding easier and it will make you a better rider.
The other advantage of the rounded tip and tail is that it keeps more of the board out of the water during transitions. When you are deep in a wave, the last thing you want is for one of the corners of your board to dig in and take you down. The rounded tips sit in the curve of the wave better and allow you to transition with more freedom.
We can't say enough about this board. If you just like to ride hard and do big jumps then this board may not be for you. If you like to ride more free style then this board is a dream. If you like to carve, ride the waves, do epic downwinders, then this board will make every ride better than the last.
